Together We Shall Thrive
Effective Date: September 29, 2026
Your Privacy Matters
At Together We Shall Thrive, we believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, compassion, and safety.
Our work focuses on human sex trafficking prevention, education, and support for victims and survivors. We understand that reaching out for information or support can take courage.
You are not a story, a case, or a statistic. You are a person, and your privacy matters to us.
1. We Respect Your Choice
You are encouraged to share only the information you are comfortable sharing.
You do not need to tell us everything that has happened to you simply to ask a question, learn about available resources, or connect with our organization.
Whenever possible, we will respect your choices about what information you share and how that information is used.
2. Information We Collect
Our organization currently collects limited information, primarily:
- Your name
- Your email address
We do not intentionally ask you to provide unnecessary personal or sensitive information.
If you contact us about trafficking, exploitation, or support, please avoid including highly sensitive details in an ordinary email unless we specifically ask you to provide them through an appropriate and secure process.
3. Protecting Your Identity
We will not intentionally publicly identify a victim or survivor without appropriate permission.
We will not intentionally use a survivor's name, photograph, personal story, or identifying information for publicity, educational materials, fundraising, or promotional purposes without appropriate consent.
When sharing educational experiences or stories, we may use anonymous or generalized information to help protect people's identities.
4. You Are in Control of Your Story
Your experiences belong to you.
You have the right to decide whether you want to share your story, photograph, name, or other personal information.
Saying “no,” “not right now,” or “I don't want to talk about that” is okay.
We will not intentionally pressure you to disclose personal information or share your story.
5. Safety Comes First
We care about your safety.
There may be circumstances in which information must be disclosed because of applicable law or because of a serious and immediate safety concern. When legally and practically possible, we will approach these situations with sensitivity and respect.
Nothing in this policy is intended to create a promise of absolute confidentiality where the law does not allow it.
6. Children and Young People
We recognize that children and young people can be particularly vulnerable to exploitation and trafficking.
We take privacy and safety concerns involving minors seriously and will handle information involving children in accordance with applicable law and appropriate safeguarding practices.
7. Email and Online Contact
Email and ordinary website forms may not be completely secure.
For your protection, please do not send:
- Identification documents
- Passwords
- Financial account information
- Detailed medical information
- Your exact location
- Detailed descriptions of trafficking or exploitation
- Information about another person's private circumstances
unless Together We Shall Thrive specifically provides a secure method and asks you to provide that information.
8. We Do Not Sell Your Information
Together We Shall Thrive does not sell your personal information.
We also do not intentionally share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
If a payment processor is needed for a merchandise purchase or donation, that provider may receive information necessary to process the transaction and will operate under its own privacy policies.
9. No Judgment
If you reach out to Together We Shall Thrive, you deserve to be treated with compassion and respect.
We will strive to communicate without judgment and to recognize that every survivor's circumstances and needs are different.
We cannot promise that we can provide every service someone may need, but we will do our best to provide appropriate information and help connect people with resources when possible.
10. Your Questions Are Welcome
If you have questions about what information we collect, how it is used, or how to request changes to your information, you can contact us.
